VOCALIST
Cabaret
I perform periodically in Cabaret shows hosted at Spirit Theater in Pittsburgh. Highlights from some of those performances can be found on my Instagram page. I also perform annually at Nathan Brewer’s Christmas Party in New York City, hosted at the Laurie Beechman Theatre.
Betty Davis Collaboration
In 2019, I sang lead vocals on the first new song written and produced by Betty Davis in forty years. As a creative team, Davis and I released “A Little Bit Hot Tonight”—a sultry pop-hybrid of soul, blues, Latin and jazz—on July 22nd, 2019. All proceeds from the song go to the Betty Davis Scholarship, an annual award for a graduating senior who is pursuing music at Steel Valley High School (Ms. Davis’s alma mater).
Afro Yaqui Music Collective
In 2017, I performed with eco-socialist, indigenous fusion group Afro Yaqui Music Collective and we covered the song "And All Stood By," originally written and performed by former Black Panther Party Chairwoman Elaine Brown in 1969.
